Meet the Counselor

Hello Raiders!  My name is Gail Warschak, and I am excited to be the High School Counselor. I will assist you in planning for your future. Everyday I strive to ensure that our RHS students demonstrate the qualities of a Raider:

I graduated in 1994 from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Academic Studies. In 2002, I received my Masters of Education in Counseling from the University of Houston-Victoria. During my 27 years in education, I worked for Columbus Elementary School, Edna and El Campo Independent School Districts, and for the past 11 years, I have been the counselor at Rice High School.

My husband, Donald, and I have two sons. Our two sons, Jacob and Luke, currently attend Texas A&M University. Jacob is studying Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, and Luke is studying Construction Science. My husband also graduated from Texas A&M, so as you can tell, I am surrounded by Aggies! In our spare time, we enjoy tailgating at Texas A&M sporting events and attending the games. We also enjoy fishing and spending time outdoors.
